Description:

These handcrafted earrings are an ode to rhythm—of the body, of the drum, of the unseen threads that connect us across time. At the centre, a glowing labradorite cabochon flashes with shifting colour—green, blue, pink, gold—like light in motion. Radiating lines surround the stone, like pulses of energy or echoes of sound. A single feather sways beneath.

The design draws inspiration from my ancestral heritage: the Gombey traditions of Bermuda. Rooted in Afro-Caribbean and Indigenous American cultures, the Gombey is a vibrant dance and drumming tradition that celebrates movement, joy, and resilience. With feathered headdresses and powerful rhythms, Gombey performers embody ancestral memory in every beat.

These earrings honour that spirit of flow and freedom, while offering a universal symbol of connection, transformation, and celebration.
